About the Chamber
We are Passionate About Tumwater
Who We Are, What We Do.
“Tumwater is the place where history begins for the great state of Washington. Our city was founded in 1845 as “New Market”, the first American community north of the Columbia.
Our Chamber office is conveniently located near I-5 and open 5 days a week. Office hours are 8:30-4:30pm Monday thru Friday. It is our desire to be a community resource for visitors as well as businesses of the Tumwater Area.
At the Tumwater Chamber, we are as passionate about the future of business as we are in the strength of our history.
Tumwater is at an important point in its history as the community faces challenging economic growth issues. It is only through collaborative efforts that we can address and create strategies that successfully meet those challenges.
When organizations like the Visitors and Convention Bureau, the Economic Development Council, Port of Olympia, Tumwater Chamber, and the City of Tumwater come together, we can support a finically viable city, embrace and explore diversity in business and growth opportunities, while creating a sustainable, livable, and inviting community.”
